Community Guidelines
Build a life where you are.
Oiskos exists to help students Connect, Grow, Contribute, Explore, and Belong. These Guidelines apply to students, organizations, Journey creators, and everyone participating in Oiskos.
Be a person, not a performance.
Oiskos is not a popularity contest. Do not chase likes, embarrass people, or turn people into content. Experience the moment first; document it only when appropriate.
Respect boundaries and privacy.
An Oiskos suggestion never permits invading someone’s space. Respect anyone who does not want to talk, participate, be photographed, recorded, exchange information, or join you. Upload only content you have the right to use.
Keep people safe.
Do not create or complete content involving dangerous stunts, reckless driving, trespassing, illegal activity, hazing, excessive alcohol use, drugs, weapons, harassment, or likely injury. Fun and adventurous should never mean unsafe.
Organizations should invite, not pressure.
Journeys must offer authentic ways to meet people, learn, participate, serve, and experience a group’s culture. They must not be coercive recruiting funnels. Do not misrepresent people, events, affiliations, or completion.
Report problems.
Report unsafe content, harassment, inappropriate organization behavior, hazing, or privacy violations through Oiskos or at help@oiskos.com. Oiskos may remove content, restrict creators, suspend organizations, or terminate accounts when necessary.
